Alcohol – Minimising The Harm

Many of us associate alcohol with good times – be it relaxing or socialising. But like everything in life, alcohol is best enjoyed in moderation.

Drinking too much alcohol – on one occasion or over a long period of time – can increase your risk of harm. The risks associated with short-term overindulgence are fairly obvious. Aside from the potential for social embarrassment and a nasty hangover, your chance of sustaining an injury due to an accident, violence or just poor judgement is increased.
