Does stress have to be a by-product of productivity? Or can an organisation gain by proactively working to reduce workplace stress?

Research by the St Paul Fire and Marine Insurance Company showed the frequency of medication errors in a 700-bed hospital fell by 50 per cent after stress prevention activities were implemented. Other research demonstrated a 70 per cent reduction in malpractice claims in 22 hospitals that implemented stress prevention programs.
